Twelve years ago, we took a trip to see you in Center Harbor to pick up our little chocolate lab pup, Winnie. She was born to your Lily and Chucklebrook Chili.

I am writing you today to say thank you for allowing her into our lives. She touched us in so many ways. She was the most loving, faithful and loyal dog I have ever had. She welcomed another pup, with whom she shared her twelve years and helped us raise, as if he was her own puppy. She was wonderful with our 2 kids and our cats, and was an essential part of our “pack.”

Last week, after a long life, we had to put Winnie down. Her heath had been declining over the last several months and ended in kidney failure. It was comforting to know that she just died of old age.

Again, I thank you for matching us with her. She was the very very best.
